Description:
NASIG provides a high level overview of the issues and concerns of the end user community. The NASIG program will deliver a dynamic set of speakers who will explore the challenges in the realm of Internet Governance. It promises to be motivational and inspirational. The event's theme for NASIG is Inclusion, Trust and Resilience and each session addresses these issues.

Session Two: Digital Inclusion vs. Digital Divide
Description:
The pandemic has demonstrated the serious disparity for broadband access especially in rural, poor, first nations( tribal), persons with disabilities, new immigrants/refugees and remote communities. The dependency for small business, students and routine interaction amongst communities highlights the challenges and some of the ways and means of dealing with them with community networking, government policy changes and consumer awareness

Session Three: Tribal Connectivity Solutions
Description:
The Internet is transformative in American and Canadian Tribal Communities. The historical disparity is changing with innovative federal and state policy changes, grants, and community innovators.
The session will put into context the digital inclusion work being done in tribal communities. Examples of successful outcomes will be presented. The panelists will continue to discuss the pros and cons of the different approaches taken, identifying areas that were effective and why.

Session Four: Secure and Stable Internet
Description:
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused more and more users to connect to the Internet every day, which has resulted in a usage increase. With this increase, some users question the stability, and security of the Internet. The panel discussion aims to deepen understanding of what a stable and secure Internet means and the different approaches taken to make the Internet more secure and stable.
During the discussion, the group will highlight the current state of affairs with AFRINIC, the regional Internet registry (RIR) for Africa, as an example of Internet instability. The panel will examine how this situation may be impairing the stability of the Internet for billions of users and solutions that have or could have been taken to maintain it steady.
